Led by double threat Ty Mathieu (No-Hitter, Grand Slam) on the mound, the Royals defeated the Yankees 11-0. Luke Griffin had the first 3 RBI with Jake Buchman breaking it open with a double down the line in the 3rd. Owen Carver and Lucas Souza were two Royals to also contribute with their first hits of the season. Mikey Noonan with a fantastic stab at second to rob Desmond Cassidy’s hot shot and preserve Mathieu’s no hitter in the last inning. Dom Spinale with some great pitching in the loss.

Behind the strong pitching of Noah Survilas, the Mariners surged out to an early lead. The Angels were able to hold the Mariners to 1 run after the 2nd inning behind Nate Previte and Michael D’Ambrosio pitching and scored 6 runs in the 5th for a 9-4 win.
